Browse:timeDate:2016-04-05Author:admin[Print]

Developing new computational approaches, including time-dependent quantumMonte Carlo method, time-dependent density functional theory and multi-configuration timedependent Hartree–Fock method, for simulating theinteraction of multi-electrons atoms/molecules withintense lasers. The group uses these methods in the studies on the above threshold ionization and highorderharmonic generation of atoms/molecules for the understanding of the electronic correlation effects instrong field physics.

We have developed theBohmian mechanics scheme for exploring the physical mechanism of high-order harmonic generation andabove threshold ionization of atom in strong laserfields. Motivated by overcoming the computational difficulty forthe solution of time-dependent Schr¨odinger equationin coordinate space, the momentum space programhas been developed. By utilizing the program, the resonance effect on the above threshold ionization is investigated.
