Dynamics of Open Quantum Systems

Theopen quantum system lives at the cross of quantummechanism, quantum information, and quantum control.It is deeply involved with the fundamental theoreticalproblems, e.g., the transition between the classicaland quantum worlds. It also offers physical theoryand model to the realization of quantum computing,quantum communication and the manipulationover the atomic and molecular systems.

Thespeedup adiabatic or nonadiabatic quantum evolutionin atomic, molecular and optical systems, includes i) the interaction between the intensive laserand atomic or molecular systems, ii) the adiabaticevolution of ultra-cold atomic system, iii) the quantumstorage and manipulation via light-matter interaction,iv) the quantum interference in the atomicand molecular spectroscopy.
