Institute of atomic and molecular physics, Jilin University, was approved by the Ministry of education in 1979, and became the first batch of doctoral degree granting units in physics in 1998. Atomic and molecular physics has become the national key disciplines and 211 projects, 985 projects and double first-class (Physics) key construction disciplines. The Institute of atomic and molecular physics established the Key Laboratory of applied atomic molecular spectroscopy in Jilin Province in 2013, and established Jilin advanced innovation center of optical field and modern medical science and technology in 2018.

In order to promote the understanding of atomic and molecular physics science among the excellent college students of relevant majors and select excellent undergraduates to apply for master's degree, the Institute of atomic and molecular physics will hold the summer camp for national excellent students in atomic and molecular physics in 2021. Students who have excellent performance in summer camp activities and have the qualification of promotion and exemption in their colleges and universities can directly enter the admission list of students who are promoted by the Institute of atomic and molecular physics in 2022.

1、 Purpose of summer camp

This summer camp activity mainly includes the general introduction of Institute of atomic and molecular physics of Jilin University, professional introduction, expert invitation report, tutor exchange and so on.

To select the excellent undergraduates who want to apply for our institute in 2022.

2、 Form and schedule of summer camp

The summer camp will be conducted in the form of network, and the time plan is July 19-20, 2021. See the follow-up notice for the specific form and schedule.

3、 Treatment of excellent campers in summer camp

Those who have excellent performance in summer camp and have the qualification of pushing and exempting can directly enter the admission list of pushing and exempting students in our institute in 2022.

4、 Eligibility

1. Abide by the law, have good moral character and behavior habits.

2. The applicant must be a third year college student (graduated in 2022);

3. Solid foundation in English;

4. Interested in atomic and molecular physics with excellent academic performance and strong scientific research ability or potential;

5、 Application materials

1. Summer Camp Registration Form, which is filled in the registration system;

2. A letter of recommendation from an expert with the title of associate professor or above;

3. The transcript and the ranking certificate of the general evaluation results issued by the Academic Affairs Office of the university or the Academic Affairs Department of the Department (based on the results of five semesters, with official seal);

4. Other materials that can prove your achievements and potential, such as copies of academic papers, copies of various award-winning certificates, copies of CET-4 and CET-6 Achievement Certificates, etc.

6、 Registration method

1. Online registration: students applying for summer camp must log in to the following website before July 10, 2021: https://yzb.jlu.edu.cn/ , it is online registration, and if you overdue,there is no re report.

2. Send scanned copies of application materials (within 10M) to jiangpanpan@jlu.edu.cn. The subject of the email is "Summer Camp Registration + name + undergraduate college + telephone number". All materials are packed into a folder.

7、 Admission notice

The list of campers is expected to be published on the official website of Institute of atomic and molecular physics of Jilin University before July 15, 2021. Please pay attention to it. If you are accepted, please send an email to confirm whether you want to attend this summer camp. No further notice will be given to those who have not been accepted.

8、 Statement and contact information

In order to ensure the quality of summer camp activities, we will limit the number of campers, which may not meet the requirements of all the students who are interested in the Institute of atomic and molecular physics of Jilin University.
