At present, ultrafast control of quantum states in atomic and molecular systems and precise measurement of transient quantum processes are the advantages of the institute. With years of accumulation of research, it is now in a leading position in related fields at home and abroad. The research is also one of the key directions supported by the development plan of the national science and technology in the future, and is a research hotspot in the international scientific community. We should make full use of our own advantages, closely combine atomic and molecular physics and other disciplines, and use the theory, means and methods of atom and molecular physics to study other systems. We should try to work hard, carry forward the past and open up the future, and make contributions to the construction of first-class atomic and molecular science.”
