Introduction:
Dr. Guan obtained his doctor degree at Jilin University on 1988,then researched in Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics (WIPM) of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Kansas,Drake University and Louisiana State University in turn. He has published over 60 papers on Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. A, J. Phys. B, Adv. in Quantum. Chem.
Abstract:
I'll first introduce a few important concepts in high performance computing, including the model of MPI programming from partitioning, data communication, agglomeration, and mapping. Compute-bound and memory-bound applications will also be discussed. Finally, I'll demonstrate a successful solution of double photoionizaton of hydrogen molecules using massively parallel computing facilities.
