Abstract:
Femtosecond laser pulse shaping technology is aimed at modulate the shape and characteristics by changing the intensity, phase, frequency and time domain of pulse. This report mainly describes the 4f femtosecond laser pulse shaping and the polarization shaping method based on 4f structure. We can obtain pulse trains with adjustable sub-pulses spacing and number, vortex pulse and various shaping pulses required. We also introduce the applications of pulse shaping technique in gas molecular alignment, ionization, dissociation, high-order harmonic generation, ablation of condensed material and biomedical three-dimensional imaging.
