CV of Prof. Ai-Hua Liu: Prof. Ai-Hua Liu, a senior researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center, obtained his doctor degree of science at Kansas State University. He independently developed method of solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE) in full dimensionality within a finite-element discrete-variable-representation (FE-DVR) scheme. By applying the FE-DVR method for numerically solving the TDSE equation in full dimensionality, he simulated the double Ionization of atom and molecule by fs laser pulses. From the interaction of electronic correlation, he validates a simple heuristic expression for comparing the sequential and non-sequential double-ionization contribution in ultrashort pulses. He published many SCI papers on Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. A and other journals, and invited to lecture at various international academic conferences and Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory.
