Introduction:

Professor Wang Chuncheng is mainly engaged in attosecond and femtosecond resolution of atomic and molecular ultrafast dynamics. Through the development of new experimental techniques, he has developed a systematic study of electron tunneling and its application in molecular ultrafast structure imaging. Research and use extreme ultraviolet light source based on high-order harmonic generation to study the ultra-fast behavior of molecules in a liquid environment. In recent years, an ion-electron coincidence measurement experimental platform, a femtosecond-resolved extreme ultraviolet liquid phase molecular photoelectron spectroscopy platform, and a high-order harmonic generation-coincidence measurement research platform have been established. Based on these research platforms, the research group has published more than 30 SCI papers in important journals in the field, such as Phys. Rev. Lett. and Phys. Rev. A. Professor Chuncheng Wang has successively conducted international cooperative research at Tohoku University in Japan and ETH Zurich. In 2018, he was selected as one of the first batch of "Peiying Program" of Jilin University.

Abstract:

This report will introduce the recent work progress of our research group in the following two aspects: 1. Develop energy-dependent attosecond technology to study the problem of electron tunneling time, discover the importance of potential interaction under the barrier, and get A new view on electron tunneling is presented. 2. Using two independent experimental systems, comparatively studied the molecular ultra-fast isomerization process in liquid and gas environments, and obtained the new mechanism behind this classic isomerization reaction.
