2021 Sub-forum of Online International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application "Theory and Application of Atomic and Molecular Science" was successfully held by IAMP on September 23. Six experts and scholars from Russia, Ukraine, India and China made wonderful academic reports. More than 60 teachers and students of the Institute participated in the meeting. The forum was co-chaired by Professor Bing Yan and Professor Zhong-Hua Cui of the Institute.
Professor Hai-Feng Xu, deputy director of the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Physics, delivered an opening speech, warmly welcomed the participation of experts, scholars, teachers and students, and briefly introduced the meeting. Then, six experts and scholars including Professor Vladimir Bychkov from Moscow State University, Professor Karina Lamonova from the Institute of physics and Engineering in Donetsk, Ukraine, Dr. Yuriy Hizhnyi from Kiev State University, Dr. Sudip Pan from Philip University in Marburg, Germany, Professor Jing Guo and Xiao-Chun Wang from the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Physics of Jilin University reported the latest research results. Involving the calculation of electronic structure method of material luminescence mechanism, spherical lightning physics, modified crystal field theory, momentum distribution of atoms, molecules and solids in strong laser field, and application of biomimetic nanomaterials in the field of new energy, etc. The teachers and students had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the report experts.
The successful holding of the sub forum of the 2021 International Industry, Learning, Research and Application cooperation conference has further promoted the all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging exchanges and cooperation between the Institute and high-level scholars. In the future, under the framework of the cooperation platform, we will deepen the joint talent training mechanism of Chinese and foreign mentors, build a partnership from a global perspective, and innovate high-level talent training and international scientific research cooperation mechanisms.
