On May 19, 2020, IAMP held an online seminar on the project "Precise Measurement of Atomic and Molecular Transient Quantum Processes", which is a national key research and development program. With the current situation of epidemic prevention and control is still grim, IAMP actively overcame difficulties, actively responded to the national and regional epidemic prevention policies. At the same time, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of National Key program R&D plan and explore the use of new media for academic exchange and cooperation, the online seminar was held. The seminar invited professor Yuan Jianmin, chief scientist of the project, professor Jin Mingxing, Liu Xiaojun of researcher of precision measurement science and Technology Innovation Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor Zhao Zengxiu of University of national defense science and technology, Chen Jing researcher of Beijing Institute of Applied Physics and computational mathematics, and professor Xu Haifeng and Yang Yujun, Ding Dajun. Jin Mingxing, leader of the project team, first introduced the overall arrangement and progress of the research. After that, professor Jin Mingxing, Shi Ying, associate professor Luo Sizuo, Zhang Dongdong, and researcher Tang Ying of the Institute of precision measurement science and technology innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made excellent academic reports on high-pressure ultrafast dynamics, coherent charge transfer, electron nuclear coupling dynamics, design of cold molecular imaging system and research of liquid beam imaging system. At the same time, valuable opinions and suggestions on how to complete the national key program R & Dwith quality and quantity were provided.
The state key research and development program "Precise measurement of transient quantum processes of atoms and molecules" is another important basic and frontier research project undertaken by IAMP as the chief institute after the national major scientific research program ( project 973) "Ultrafast regulation of atomic and molecular quantum states". Jilin University is responsible for the research task of "Precise measurement of multi degree of freedom coupling molecular transient process" in the project. Since the project was launched in November 2019, it has completed the design, processing and testing of relevant equipment and instruments, including high-pressure induced ultrafast dynamics, ultrafast ionization and dissociation electron nuclear coupling dynamics, liquid beam electron/ion imaging, etc. We have achieved some innovative research results and published more than 10 academic papers, which had a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the whole project.
