报告人简介:

Robin Weissenbilder received his Ph.D. in Physics from Lund University in 2023, where his research focused on the optimization of high-order harmonic generation, attosecond photoelectron interferometry, and quantum state tomography of photoelectrons. He subsequently continued at Lund University as a postdoctoral researcher, working on high-order harmonic generation, attosecond science, and the development of multipass cells for spectral broadening of ultrafast laser pulses. In September 2026, he will join CEA Paris-Saclay as a postdoctoral researcher, where he will combine ion-photoelectron coincidence techniques with quantum state tomography to investigate entanglement in photoionization dynamics on the attosecond timescale.

摘要:

High-order harmonic generation (HHG) is a well-established source of coherent extreme-ultraviolet radiation and attosecond pulses, but achieving high conversion efficiency requires careful optimization of both the driving laser parameters and the nonlinear medium. This presentation discusses the optimization of HHG with a focus on gas target configuration, driving field intensity, and pulse duration.

The talk will present scaling behavior of the optimal parameters as the energy and duration of the driving laser pulse are varied, highlighting the interplay between ionization, absorption, and phase matching. The results provide practical guidelines for selecting experimental conditions that maximize harmonic yield across different focusing geometries and ranges of pulse energies and durations.
