Introduction :

Shu Chuancun, Distinguished Professor of Central South University, member of Hunan Province Key Laboratory of Ultrastructure and Ultrafast Process. In October 2010, he graduated from Dalian University of Technology with a PhD degree in Atomic and Molecular Physics; from November 2010 to March 2012, a postdoctoral fellow at the Technical University of Denmark Oster; from April 2012 to March 2015, a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University, USA; May to June 2018, Vice-Chancellor postdoctoral researcher at the University of New South Wales, Australia; joined the School of Physics and Electronics of Central South University in December 2017. Mainly engaged in the theoretical research of various photophysical and photochemical phenomena in optical field regulation of atomic and molecular systems, and solve the current hot and difficult problems in the frontier research fields such as quantum control, quantum computing and quantum information. More than 40 papers have been published in international journals such as Phys. Rev. Lett., J. Am. Chem. Soc., J. Phys. Chem. Lett., and the research results have been published by Rev. Mod. Phys., Phys. Rep., Journals such as Phys. Rev. Lett are cited as theoretical basis or important progress. He is presided over 1 general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participated in 1 project.


Abstract: Light field regulation of quantum systems is an important research issue in the fields of atom, molecule and optical physics. This report will introduce how to study coherent light field modulation quantum systems from the perspective of frequency domain, such as quantum state transfer and electronic coherence. The report will introduce the background of the development of quantum control in the frequency domain, and focus on the recent research results made in the field of light field control using coherent control theory and optimal control theory.
