CV of Prof. Turgay Uzer:

Ph.D., Harvard University, USA,
B.S., Middle East Technical University, Turkey
Research Interests: Atomic Physics, Rydberg States, Nonlinear Dynamics, Semiclassical Physics.

Abstract: I will show examples of how you can use nonlinear dynamics to understand various problems in strong field physics, including improving the strong-filed approximation (SFA). I will show why the number 3.17 Up is valid even when the coulomb filed of the ion is included.
