On September 6, 2020, the national key R & D Plan "quantum control and quantum information" project "precise measurement of atomic and molecular transient quantum process" was successfully held in Changchun.19 experts including academician Ye Chaohui, academician Zhu Shiyao, academician Gong Qihuang, Academician Li Ruxin and academician Xie Xincheng attended the kick-off meeting. Wu gen, director of the high technology research and development center of the Ministry of science and technology, Zheng Weitao, vice president of Jilin University and Bai Wenxiang, deputy director of the science and Technology Department, were invited to attend the kick-off meeting. More than 90 members of the project team and relevant scientific researchers attended it. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Yuan Jianmin, chief scientist.



Vice President Zheng Weitao delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Jilin University.In his speech, vice president Zheng Weitao expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of science and technology and experts for their support and help, congratulated the smooth start of the project, and hoped that the project would carry out exploration and tackling key problems in the forefront of disciplines and achieve breakthrough research results. At the same time, he said that the school will actively play the role of organization, coordination, service and supervision to ensure the smooth implementation of the project and the completion of the task with high quality.Director Wu Gen introduced the organization and implementation requirements of national key R & D projects in detail, and hoped that the projects and various topics would be well organized and managed to ensure the achievement of mission objectives and the output of important research results.Professor Cheng Ya and researcher Zhan Mingsheng, an expert responsible for the project, jointly presided over the project and project report.The project leader, Professor Yuan Jianmin, and the four project leaders respectively reported the overall situation of the project, the research content and progress to the experts attending the meeting in detail.Academician Ye Chaohui presided over the expert discussion.Experts in the field and in the cloud fully affirmed the importance of the project, put forward valuable opinions on the scientific research, organization and management of the project and the technical implementation scheme, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the problems that may be encountered in the process of project implementation.Finally, on behalf of the project team, the project leader, Professor Yuan Jianmin, said that in the follow-up project implementation, the opinions and suggestions of the expert group will be seriously considered, and the research objectives of the project will be fully completed through joint efforts of all subjects around the research contents of the project.


The project "precise measurement of atomic and molecular transient quantum processes" is a national key research and development plan. One of the five priority funding directions set up in the key project of "quantum regulation and quantum information" in 2019, with Jilin University as the undertaking unit and Professor Yuan Jianmin as the chief scientist, has jointly worked with Jilin University, Institute of precision measurement science and technology innovation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of national defense science and technology, and Beijing Institute of Applied Physics and computational mathematics to jointly tackle key problemsUltra wide band ultrafast optical field technology and attosecond time-resolved measurement technology, the development of photon, electron and ion multi-dimensional correlation spectroscopy new method, the development of atomic and molecular transient process and quantum multi-body process precise measurement, reveal the atomic and molecular multi-body dynamics and regulatory mechanism.This is another important basic frontier research project undertaken by the Institute of atomic and molecular physics of Jilin University as the chief unit after the national major scientific research plan (973 project) "ultrafast regulation of atomic and molecular quantum states".
